This was stated by the deputy chairman of the regional government Nikolai Stetsko in Telegram.

"The Poltavka automobile checkpoint has been opened," he wrote.

According to him, in record time, in a little more than two months, it was possible to restore the bridge, repair the premises and update equipment.

"Freight traffic has been restored. We are speeding up the opening of the passenger station as much as possible," Stetsko said.

In August, it was reported that road workers restored the passage to the Poltavka checkpoint across the border with China in the Primorsky Territory, which was temporarily closed due to flooding.
