Two Palestinians were injured by Israeli gunfire during clashes that erupted in a refugee camp east of Nablus in the West Bank, and the occupation carried out other incursions into different areas of the West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that two Palestinians were injured by Israeli gunfire during clashes that erupted in the new Askar refugee camp in the eastern area of Nablus city in the West Bank. Israeli occupation vehicles also raided Beit Furik checkpoint, southeast of Nablus, towards the eastern area of the city.

On the other hand, Al Jazeera correspondent reported that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Asira al-Shamaliyya, north of Nablus city in the West Bank, and the Palestinian Red Crescent announced that a 21-year-old man was injured by the Israeli occupation forces' bullets during the storming of the town.

Photographs of local websites and activists documented clashes between Palestinian youths and the occupying forces in the town, during which gunfire and Molotov cocktails were thrown.

On the other hand, Israeli occupation forces and vehicles stormed the city of Tubas, northeast of the West Bank, from the Tayasir military checkpoint, east of the city, where they erected checkpoints and closed the entrances to the city. Al-Jazeera correspondent reported clashes between Palestinian militants and the occupation forces in the city.

Meanwhile, Al Jazeera correspondent reported the outbreak of armed clashes between the Israeli occupation forces and Palestinian youths who opened fire at the Israeli Salem military checkpoint, located west of Jenin in the West Bank.

The Israeli occupation forces used medium machine guns to respond to the sources of fire, while a large-scale combing operation began in the vicinity of the area near the town of Rumana, northwest of Jenin. An Israeli soldier was wounded during gunfire at the Dotan military checkpoint.

Two martyrs

Two Palestinians were killed earlier on Saturday by the Israeli occupation forces in the city of Dura and the town of Azzun in Qalqilya, north of the West Bank, where the occupation forces executed a young man during his arrest at dawn on Saturday in the city of Hebron.

The occupation forces stormed the house of the citizen Sari Amr (25 years) and shot him during the raid and wounded him directly, Sari's father told Al Jazeera that the occupation forces informed him of the martyrdom of his son and prevented him from saying goodbye to him.

The Israeli occupying forces also killed a 17-year-old Palestinian boy, Mahmoud Bassem Abu Haniyeh, during their raid into the town of Azzun in Qalqilya in the northern West Bank.

The boy was taken to hospital in critical condition after being sniped and underwent an emergency operation, before the Ministry of Health announced his death.

The martyrdom of Abu Haniyeh and Amr brings the number of martyrs on Saturday in the West Bank to four, in addition to the two martyrs Rami al-Jundub from al-Fara'a refugee camp and Nimr Abu Mustafa from Balata camp.

This also increased the number of martyrs in the West Bank to 275 since the seventh of last October, and to 483 since the beginning of this year.

The Israeli occupation forces launched a campaign of arrests on Saturday, arresting a released prisoner in the um Al-Sharayt neighborhood in Al-Bir city, a student at Birzeit University in Batan Al-Hawa neighborhood in central Ramallah, and the brothers of Islamic Jihad leader Bilal Diab during their raid into the village of Kafr Ra'i, southwest of Jenin in the West Bank.

For its part, the Palestinian Prisoners' Club announced that the number of arrests in the West Bank rose from the seventh of last October until dawn on Saturday to 3700,<> detainees.
