"Officers of the FSB of Russia in the Tyumen region received information that served as the basis for initiating a criminal case on the fact of committing high treason in the form of providing financial assistance to a foreign state (Article 275 of the Criminal Code of Russia) against a resident of the Tyumen region," the Russian special service said.
It is specified that the accused of treason "purposefully transferred money" to the Ukrainian military. As noted in the department, FSB officers detained him on the street.
Earlier, officers of the FSB of Russia detained a man in Kemerovo who tried to go to Ukraine to participate in hostilities on the side of the Ukrainian army.
