The report indicates that the Russian delegation during the meeting of the Sherpas and Sous-Sherpas of the BRICS member countries held a detailed presentation of the association's work plans for the next year.
"In accordance with the decision of the Johannesburg Summit, close attention will be paid during the Russian watch to the organic integration of new BRICS members into the architecture of multilateral cooperation. It is also planned to finalize the modalities of a new category of partner states of the association," the ministry said.
The document published following the meeting also says that the growth of settlements in national currencies is a priority of Russia's chairmanship in the association.
