The report clarifies that we are talking about a 40-year-old previously convicted man, as well as two other defendants in the case: a 44-year-old local resident and his 21-year-old accomplice.

"Previously, the eldest of the men was convicted of crimes against property and person," the report said.

The detention of suspects in the abduction of a girl near Kaluga became known on December 1. According to the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk, their capture was the result of the joint work of employees of the Main Directorate of Criminal Investigation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and operatives from the Kaluga region.
