Earlier, the prosecutor's office of the Kursk region sent a statement to the court recognizing the crimes of the Nazis during the Great Patriotic War in the region as genocide of the peoples of the Soviet Union.
The Kaluga Regional Court also recognized the crimes of the Nazi invaders against the population of the Kaluga Region in the period from 1941 to 1943 as genocide.
