He made the corresponding statement during a conference call with the leadership of the Russian Armed Forces.
"Seven modern training grounds are being equipped in the zone of the special military operation, two of which have been completed in full," Shoigu said.
The minister also added that additional training was held with the personnel of the training grounds, which will increase the efficiency and safety of the operation of the training and methodological base.
Earlier, Shoigu said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had lost more than 125 thousand people in the six months of the counteroffensive.
