"The state of affairs in the OSCE was discussed. The Russian side stressed that in order for the Organization to get out of the current deep crisis and return to normal activities, it is necessary to resume a mutually respectful and equal dialogue between the member states," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

In addition, during the dialogue, the Russian side noted the need to comply with the fundamental rule of consensus and strictly follow the rules.

Earlier, Lavrov said that the OSCE is in a deplorable state.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova noted that foreign ministers from Western countries in most cases spoke about nonsense during the OSCE meeting in North Macedonia.
