The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), published on Thursday a video message of the Israeli prisoner "Yerden Bibas," whose wife and two children were killed by the occupation raids in the Gaza Strip, while the Israeli army said that "Hamas' claims regarding the killing of the prisoner's family are not yet confirmed."

In the video, the prisoner appealed to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to work to recover their bodies to be buried in Israel, according to his appeal.

In response, IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari said that "Hamas's claims regarding the killing of the Bibas family are not yet confirmed."

The occupation army had previously confirmed in mid-November the death of a female soldier held captive by al-Qassam, a day after the battalions published a video clip of the soldier sending a message to the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu before her death, and then a photo after she was killed by Israeli shelling.

The Qassam Brigades had warned several times that the shelling of the Gaza Strip would cause the death and injury of Israeli prisoners, and had previously announced that 60 prisoners were killed as a result of the occupation raids on the Strip.
