"We see how items from Ukrainian museums are allegedly transported for storage to museums in a number of European countries, and at the same time there is every reason to believe that this is just theft. Moreover, the Kiev regime authorities themselves are behind this theft," she said during a briefing.

Earlier, the Allard Pearson Museum in Amsterdam confirmed the transfer of the collection of Scythian gold to Ukraine.

The collection of Scythian gold was taken from Crimea for an exhibition at the Allard Pearson Museum in Amsterdam in 2014. After the peninsula became part of Russia, both Crimean museums and Kiev claimed their rights to gold.
