The artist and presenter Oscar Zia is doing Musikhjälpen for the third time.

"It's messier than ever in the world, and I have a pretty heavy feeling in my body. Musikhjälpen is not the solution, but it is a start, a step on the way, says Oscar Zia in a press release.

Debut in the glass cage

P3 profile Linnea Wikblad and comedian Sofia Dalén make their debut in Musikhjälpen.

"It's always heartwarming to follow how people come together during the week. This year it feels more important than ever! I'm so looking forward to taking on the role of host," says Sofia Dalén.

Hunger this year's theme

P3 presenter Aissia Dahir will be a reporter out on the square and Tina Mehrafzoon, also a presenter on P3, is the programme's travelling reporter.

Filip Dikmen was supposed to be the host

At the end of October, influencer Filip Dikmen lost his assignment as one of the hosts of the program. The reason was that he had posted videos about the war between Israel and Hamas.

Musikhjälpen will be broadcast December 11-17 from Stortorget in Växjö. This year's theme is "No one should have to die of hunger". The three presenters are locked in a glass cage in the square and broadcast radio and television around the clock for 144 hours. The aim is to raise money for food packages, nutritional treatments and clean water, among other things.
