It was on Tuesday that two people were arrested and detained on suspicion of aggravated protection of a criminal linked to the murder at Mariehem in Umeå on October 8.
A person has previously been detained on suspicion of aiding and abetting murder, he has been released but the suspicions remain. No one has yet been arrested on suspicion of the murder.
'Critical stage'
Prosecutor Edvard Breitholtz believes that the investigation is at a critical stage and is sparing with comments so as not to affect the investigation.
"I don't want to say much more than that two people were arrested yesterday, both suspected of aggravated protection of a criminal," he said.
The prosecutor now has until Friday to decide whether the people should be detained.
