Effects of the widespread destruction of Israeli raids on Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip (Anadolu Agency)

The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas called on journalists and media agencies to intensify their presence in the Gaza Strip to examine the extent of the destruction caused to the Israeli war since the seventh of last October.

In a statement on Tuesday evening, the movement called on journalists and international news agencies to "intensify their presence in the Gaza Strip to see the extent of destruction and the features of the genocide committed by the occupation army against children, unarmed civilians and all infrastructure."

The statement pointed out that the discovery of dozens of bodies of Palestinian civilians under the rubble in the area of Al-Sabra and other areas of Gaza City, and the extent of the destruction inflicted on the Islamic University, which is one of the most important scientific institutions, confirms the horror of the war of extermination that the people of Gaza were subjected to, which was aimed at forcing them to forcibly migrate through the killing and deliberate destruction of all life facilities and infrastructure.

In a related context, the movement called for the escalation of mass events on the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, in rejection of aggression and in support of their right to freedom and independence.

The movement renewed its call for the continuation of events and marches in all cities and capitals in the coming days, to condemn the crimes of the occupation, pressure to criminalize and stop them, and form a global public opinion in support of the rights of the Palestinian people to freedom, independence and self-determination.

On October 1200, the Palestinian resistance launched an attack on the settlements surrounding Gaza, during which more than 5,239 Israelis were killed, more than <>,<> were injured and about <> were captured.
