It was during a pro-Palestinian demonstration in central Gothenburg this weekend that a person was filmed when it, among other things, hit the woman's phone into the ground and then said "Fuck you go home".
Now the municipality of Tjörn has announced that they have suspended the person and that an investigation has been initiated.
On their website, they distance themselves from the action:
"The employee's actions are reprehensible and completely unacceptable and go against the municipality's values in every way."
