Li Qiang said that the China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo is the world's first national-level exhibition with the theme of supply chain. At present, the world economic recovery is difficult. As President Xi Jinping has pointed out, maintaining the resilience and stability of global industrial and supply chains is an important guarantee for promoting the development of the world economy. Consolidating and strengthening cooperation in global industrial and supply chains is the interest and urgent expectation of all parties. China's holding of the Chain Expo is to comply with the call of the times and create an international platform to promote all parties to strengthen communication, deepen cooperation and seek common development.
Li Qiang pointed out that history and reality have proved that when the global industrial and supply chain cooperation remains stable and continues to deepen, all countries in the world will generally benefit; When global industrial and supply chain cooperation is hindered and stagnant, countries around the world are generally damaged. China is not only a participant and beneficiary of global industrial and supply chain cooperation, but also a staunch defender and builder. China stands ready to work with all parties to make global industrial and supply chains more resilient, efficient and dynamic, and make greater contributions to world economic recovery and global development and prosperity.
Li Qiang put forward a four-point proposal for deepening international cooperation in industrial and supply chains: First, jointly build a safe and stable industrial and supply chain. Strengthen the coordination of resources in key industrial chains on a global scale, and do not arbitrarily interfere with market behavior. China will continue to provide the world with high-quality Made in China and stable Chinese supply. The second is to jointly build a smooth and efficient industrial and supply chain. We will further strengthen global connectivity and make it more convenient to circulate and effectively allocate elements. China will continue to promote high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, and strengthen innovation cooperation in areas such as smart manufacturing and digital economy. The third is to jointly build an open and inclusive industrial and supply chain. We will take a clear stand against protectionism and various forms of "decoupling and chain breaking", and strive to promote the green and low-carbon transformation of industrial and supply chains. China will be more deeply integrated into the global industrial and supply chain system, and actively participate in international cooperation in the field of green development. Fourth, jointly build a mutually beneficial and win-win industrial chain and supply chain. Promote the construction of a global industrial and supply chain system with extensive participation of all countries, complementary advantages, and shared dividends. China will actively promote industrial and production capacity cooperation with other countries, and drive developing countries to participate more deeply in the global value chain. It is hoped that entrepreneurs from all over the world will play an active role in promoting the steady operation of the global industrial and supply chains. China will provide more convenience and better protection for enterprises from all over the world to invest and do business in China.

President Joko Widodo of Indonesia, President Lacalle of Uruguay, Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Iweala, and Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) Alan Greenspan delivered video speeches at the opening ceremony.
Before the opening ceremony, Li Qiang went to the exhibition hall of the Chain Expo to tour the hall and interact with the heads of relevant enterprises.
