A senior Iranian government official announced that negotiations to purchase fighter jets and attack helicopters from Russia have been finalized.
Regarding the military cooperation between the two countries, it has been pointed out that Iran is considering providing ballistic missiles to Russia, which continues to invade Ukraine, and the Western side is becoming alarmed.

On the 28th, the Iranian regime-friendly media "Tasnim News Agency" published an interview with Deputy Minister Farahi of the Ministry of Defense and Munitions.

In it, Deputy Minister Farahi said that negotiations to purchase weapons from Russia have been concluded and are proceeding with the procedure.

It is said that the purchase will be a fighter "Sukhoi 35", an attack helicopter "Mi28", and a training aircraft adapted to fighters.

Prior to this, the US government said on the 21st that Iran was considering providing ballistic missiles to Russia and was trying to purchase weapons from Russia.

Until now, Iran has been pointed out to be providing drones to Russia, which continues to invade Ukraine, and has denied it, but this time, if the purchase of fighter jets and other equipment is realized, military cooperation between the two countries will advance further, and the Western side, which is deepening the confrontation, is becoming more alarmed.
