The truce between the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip, led by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), and Israel continues for the fifth day, as the bombing and military operations of the occupation have stopped, except for limited violations to which the Qassam Brigades responded.
Over the course of the five days, the Palestinian resistance released a number of Israeli detainees and dozens of Palestinian prisoners and children.
The truce was mediated by Qatari-Egyptian-American for four days, then extended for another two days, and talks are being held in Doha to extend it for another period.
