"Annalena Baerbock has so far distinguished herself primarily by diplomatic blunders, for example, when she declared war on the nuclear power, Russia," Wagenknecht said on Facebook.
Now the foreign minister has given out "new wisdom" about the conflict around the Gaza Strip, the politician said.
"The minister said that the silence of weapons will not help to deliver urgently needed humanitarian aid. According to her, it is not the task of politics to make sure that the weapons are silenced," the MP said.
According to her, this is "irresponsible and perverted logic."
"I am only ashamed of this foreign minister," Wagenknecht wrote.
Former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder said earlier in an interview with the Berliner Zeitung that Annalena Baerbock should keep her emotions to herself when it comes to relations with Russia and its leader Vladimir Putin.
