According to law enforcement officers, everything happened when people got out of the car at the Ulitsa Dmitrievskogo metro station of the Nekrasovskaya line.

"The attacker, a 40-year-old previously convicted citizen, in the presence of a large crowd of people, sprayed the contents of an aerosol can in the direction of a passenger who made a remark to him, after which he fled the scene," the Interior Ministry said.

The passenger went to the hospital, where doctors diagnosed a chemical burn to the face, eyes and neck. A case was opened against the detainee on the grounds of a crime under 116 of the Criminal Code of Russia ("Battery").

Earlier it was reported that two students were in intensive care from spraying a spray can at a school in Pervouralsk.
