• Police are looking for a sixth participant, aged 19, in the sexual assault of a teenager in Malaga

The National Police have arrested seven minors in Malaga, four women and three men, who participated in a group attack on two others. One of the arrested, after arguing with an acquaintance, called a group of friends to attack her.

During the events, the attackers even used a blunt object, causing bruises to the young woman and serious injuries to her companion, who needed staples and stitches. The Juvenile Prosecutor's Office understands the facts, as indicated by the National Police in a statement.

The events took place in Malaga city, on the night of September 10. A couple, aged 13 and 15, were in a park in the Costa del Sol city when the girl started an argument with another minor who was in the same place.

In this space of time, one of them, who was eventually arrested, apparently called a group of friends to beat them up.

In the course of the assault, the minor attackers used a stick against the young man, while several girls punched, kicked and pulled the hair of the 13-year-old girl.

Finally, the group fled the scene due to the recrimination of a neighbor who had to request medical assistance for the victims due to the injuries they presented. The boy needed nine stitches on his head and five stitches on his eyebrow, while the young woman was left with bruises on several parts of her body.

Subsequently, the legal guardians of both victims filed the corresponding complaint, providing the medical report for the injuries suffered.

The investigation fell to the Grume, attached to the Provincial Brigade of the Judicial Police, of the Provincial Police Station of Malaga. As a result of the efforts made, the agents managed to identify all those involved in the group aggression, verifying that eight minors would have participated in it.

The investigation concluded with the arrest of seven of the eight minors, one of whom has not been charged, as alleged perpetrators of the crimes of injuries and threats. These were placed at the disposal of the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office of Malaga.
