"Samuel August from Sevedstorp and Hanna in Hult" is the short story in which Astrid Lindgren tells her parents' love story.

Johan Gille, who runs Lerbäck's theatre, has now carefully dramatised this love story.

In addition, Georg Riedel, one of the greatest composers of our time and who has composed the most songs for Astrid Lindgren's films, is responsible for completely new music for the performance.

"It will be exciting to tell this story that not many people know about. It shows a lot why Astrid became who she became and the way we know her today," says Johan Gille, screenwriter and director.

To be played this spring

This spring you have the chance to see the performance with a full orchestra, professional actors and students from the arts schools in Örebro and Askersund.

The performance will be performed at Örebro Concert Hall and at the Sjöängen Cultural Centre in Askersund. In total, there will be eight school performances and three public performances.

"I think the audience will have a gripping and thought-provoking experience," says Maria Brengesjö, producer at the Swedish Chamber Orchestra.
