This was announced by the representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk.

At the meeting with Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, Kolokoltsev noted that he was visiting Cuba for the first time and that this visit was taking place in an extremely difficult international situation.

He stressed that the unipolar world "became a thing of the past long before the events in Ukraine," and the Cuban people, like no one else, know all the harmfulness of the "approaches promoted by the United States and its satellites" aimed at curbing the progressive trends of global development.

According to Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Russia and Cuba are united by their joint aspirations to create conditions for multipolarity and genuine equality of states.

The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia also thanked Raul Castro for his hospitality and shared his impressions of his first visit to the republic. He told Castro about the main results of cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and Cuba in the law enforcement sphere and expressed confidence that joint work to counter modern challenges and threats, including extremism and terrorism, cybercrime, and drug trafficking, will increase momentum.
