The Provincial Court of Madrid has sentenced David Bárcena, a member of the criminal organization Dominican Don't Play, to life imprisonment for the murder of rapper Isaac López.
This is the second reviewable life sentence for a member of youth gangs in Spain, and David Bárcena, now 20, becomes the youngest person to be sentenced in this way.

The ruling, to which EFE has had access, also establishes that Bárcena will have to compensate the victim's mother and sister with 175,000 and 50,000 euros, respectively.
Rapper Isaac López was murdered on July 14, 2021, in the Calle del Comercio tunnel in Madrid.
Bárcena was tried by a popular jury, which found him guilty of murder with malice and membership of a criminal gang, and also considered that thevictim was especially vulnerable, so the accusations asked for him to be imprisoned for life in prison.
