This was stated by Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya.

He noted that under fire, it is impossible to bring urgently needed fuel into the Gaza Strip and soon, without communication and the Internet, residents of the enclave will be completely isolated from the outside world.

"We won't know what's going on there at all. The Gaza Strip will be completely plunged into darkness and chaos," TASS quoted the permanent representative as saying.

Earlier, the UN announced the suspension of the humanitarian operation in Gaza due to a lack of fuel.

It was also reported that the Israeli army was continuing its operation against Hamas at the Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza.
