It was on February 1 that the accident occurred, when two trucks collided on County Road 128 just south of Möcklamo at the intersection with Bodafors.
According to the indictment, the woman crossed a solid line with the truck and drove in the opposite lane. A man who was driving the other truck was seriously injured and suffered fractures to both legs in connection with the collision of the vehicles.
The woman, who denies the crime, is charged with reckless driving and causing bodily harm. When questioned, the suspect says that she does not remember how the accident happened.
The reason she crossed into the other lane may have been to give way to another truck that braked in front of her, according to the suspect.
