Today, Friday, the Qassam Brigades announced the targeting of Israeli occupation tanks in Gaza City with "Al-Yassin 105" shells, in addition to targeting a gathering of Israeli soldiers northwest of the city, while the occupation army admitted to killing 356 soldiers and officers, 39 of whom were killed since the start of the ground operation on the Strip.

The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said in a post on Telegram that it "targeted at dawn today an Israeli bulldozer with a "Yassin 105" shell and a tank tower with a "Tandom" shell south of Gaza City."

In another post, it added that the brigades also targeted a tank with the "Al-Yassin 105" shell east of the Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City.

It also confirmed the destruction of "an Israeli tank northwest of Gaza City with a "Al-Yassin 105" shell.

It also noted in a blog post that a march of its own landed an antipersonnel shell on a gathering of Israeli soldiers northwest of Gaza City.

Earlier today, the Qassam Brigades reported that it had destroyed a tank belonging to the commander of an armored company in an axis northwest of Gaza City with a "Al-Yassin 105" shell.

The Qassam Brigades also said that it bombed Tel Aviv in response to the targeting of civilians by the occupation forces in the Gaza Strip, and that it shelled the Ra'im military base with a rocket barrage.

In turn, the Al-Quds Brigades announced the shelling of Nerim and the Third Eye with rocket barrages.

Abu Obeida, spokesman for the Qassam Brigades, announced last Wednesday that 136 Israeli military vehicles had been completely or partially destroyed since the start of the ground operation in the Gaza Strip late last month.


IDF Losses

For its part, the Israeli army announced on Friday that a soldier died of wounds sustained during the battles in the Gaza Strip, bringing the number of its soldiers killed in ground battles since the start of Operation "Al-Aqsa Flood" to 39.

"Sergeant Jonathan Simer, 21, of the 202nd Battalion of the Parachute Brigade, was killed on Friday from wounds sustained in the central Gaza Strip last Wednesday," the Israeli military said in a statement.

The Israel Broadcasting Corporation said Friday morning that of a total of 356 soldiers and officers, 38 had been killed since the start of the Israeli ground operation in Gaza in late October (before the announcement of the death of Sergeant Jonathan Simer).

The Israeli occupation army also announced that its forces killed about 30 Palestinian militants in ground operations within 24 hours.

The Israeli army claimed that its forces stormed Hamas military positions, took control of buildings containing rockets, drones, maps and mortars, as well as stormed the office of Mohammed Sinwar, brother of Hamas leader in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar.

For 35 days, the Israeli army has been waging an air, land and sea war on Gaza, "during which it destroyed residential neighborhoods on the heads of their inhabitants", resulting in the death of 11078,4506 Palestinians, including 3027,678 children, 27490,<> women and <> elderly people, and the injury of <>,<> people, according to official sources.
