The Russian Defense Ministry announced the suppression of Kiev's attempts to conduct a terrorist attack on facilities on the territory of Russian regions.

"During the night of November 10, attempts by the Kiev regime to carry out terrorist attacks using aircraft-type UAVs on objects on the territory of the Russian Federation were suppressed," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

It is specified that two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted over the territory of the Republic of Crimea. In addition, another Ukrainian UAV was destroyed over the territory of the Tula region.

In recent weeks, there have been repeated attempts by Kiev to attack facilities on the territory of Crimea. So, on November 7, air defense systems on duty destroyed nine Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles and intercepted eight more over the Black Sea and the territory of the Republic of Crimea.

On November 4, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the B.E. Butoma shipyard in the city of Kerch with 15 cruise missiles. Air defense systems shot down 13 cruise missiles, as a result of which the ship was damaged.

As the head of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, clarified at the time, as a result of these events, no one was injured, part of the fragments of the downed missiles fell on the territory of one of the dry docks.

In addition, on November 2, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported the destruction of six Ukrainian UAVs by air defense forces over the Crimea and the Black Sea. Earlier, on October 30, the Russian Defense Ministry announced eight Storm Shadow cruise missiles shot down on the territory of the peninsula.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation also systematically reports on the destruction of Ukrainian drones during a special military operation in Ukraine. Thus, on November 9, 38 UAVs were reported destroyed during the day, on November 8 - 31 UAVs, on November 7 - 33 devices, on November 6 - 23 UAVs.

In addition, in the period from October 28 to November 3, the Russian Armed Forces launched 15 group strikes with high-precision weapons and drones on a number of facilities of Ukrainian troops, including the production sites of unmanned aerial vehicles and unmanned boats.

In early November, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that Russian air defense calculations were operating successfully. According to his estimates, over the previous month, they destroyed more than 1,4 enemy air attack weapons.

An attempt to attack Energodar

Along with this, in early November, it was reported about Kyiv's attempt to launch an attack in the city of Enerhodar, Zaporizhzhia region. On November 2, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced that Russian air defense systems shot down nine copter-type drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the air.

As the ministry emphasized, the Kiev regime staged an attack attempt in order to create a threat of a man-made disaster at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant and disrupt the rotation of employees of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) at the facility.

The Russian Foreign Ministry then said that the attack by the UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Energodar violated the principles of nuclear safety and security of the ZNPP.

"Ukraine has once again violated the 'ceasefire regime' and launched a massive drone attack on the city of Enerhodar, located near the station, where its employees and their families live," Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

As the diplomat emphasized, two UAVs hit the building of the Energodar hotel.

"Kiev continues to play with fire, carries out criminal and irresponsible provocations, grossly violates the so-called five principles proclaimed by IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi to ensure the nuclear safety and security of the ZNPP," Zakharova added.
