Novak said this during a press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
"I can assure you that there cannot and should not be such between Hungary and Russia that would undermine our obligations to our allies both in NATO and in the EU," RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.
Earlier, Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said that Hungary would not agree to the adoption of the 12th package of EU sanctions against Russia if it includes Russian oil, gas and nuclear.
He also stressed that Hungary plans to preserve in cooperation with Russia everything that can be saved from EU sanctions.
