On Tuesday, the issue of an increased operating grant for Frykstabacken was raised in the municipal executive board in Kil. Kil's slalom club had requested the equivalent of SEK 197,500 in addition to the regular operating grant to be able to keep the slalom slope running this winter.

"A unanimous municipal board granted the club SEK 150,000," says the chairman of the municipal board, Anders Johansson (S).

However, the increased operating grant is not unconditional.

– It is conditional on a collaboration with the orienteering club on snowmaking of the ski trails at Frykstahöjden. And we want to have a free day on the slopes in collaboration with the Culture and Leisure Administration, says Anders Jonsson (S).
