The judge of the National Court Manuel García Castellón has summoned former senior officials of the Generalitat as defendants for their involvement in the anonymous platform Tsunami Democràtic, which emerged in 2019 to protest against the sentence of the 'procés', against the pro-independence leaders. Among those investigated is the secretary general of ERC, Marta Rovira, considered the "coordinator" of the movement, according to the Civil Guard, as well as other former ERC officials, such as the former minister Xavier Vendrell, who is also implicated in the 'Voloh' case, and the head of the Office of former president Carles Puigdemont, Josep Lluís Alay, who is being investigated for his contacts with Russia to support the independence cause.

In addition, the judge considers that "the summons of Carles Puigdemont Casamajó is necessary to be heard on the facts". And it adds: "His summons, at this time, could not be made in any other capacity than that of being investigated, assisted by a lawyer offering him the opportunity to defend himself, since the interrogation would deal with matters of an obviously incriminating nature."

This accusation comes just when the former president of the Generalitat is negotiating with the PSOE to support Sánchez's investiture in exchange, precisely, for an amnesty that would also include this process, according to the first draft agreed with ERC. But Puigdemont wants to extend the pardon to other processes, in a greater shield for himself and his allies, such as Alay, also pointed out in the Voloh case.

The rest of the defendants this Monday in the National Court are Oriol Soler, editor and considered one of the members of the 'general staff of the procés', Mara Molina, Josep Campmajó, Jesús Rodríguez, Jaume Cabaní, Oleguer Serra and Nicola Flavio and offers the possibility of voluntarily appearing before the court to ERC deputy Rubén Wagensberg, in addition to Puigdemont
