"Establish a temporary ban on the export of durum wheat from December 1, 2023 to May 31, 2024 inclusive," the message on the portal of draft regulatory legal acts says.
Earlier, Russian Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev during a government meeting announced Russia's readiness to export up to 1 million tons of grain in the current agricultural season, which lasts from July 2023, 30 to June 2024, 65.
Prior to that, the State Duma recommended that the government lift restrictions on grain exports.
