The Supreme People's Procuratorate today (25th) released data on the main cases handled by procuratorial organs across the country from January to September this year.

In terms of criminal prosecution, from January to September this year, procuratorial organs nationwide approved and decided to arrest a total of 1,9 criminal suspects of all kinds; 52,39 people were not caught, or 2 per cent. A total of 43,118,2 people were prosecuted and 41,1 were not prosecuted, a non-prosecution rate of 25.8 per cent.

In terms of civil procuratorial work, from January to September this year, procuratorial organs nationwide closed 1,9 cases of supervision of civil effective judgments and put forward more than 5,5 supervision opinions, of which more than 1,2500 protests and more than 7700,5 procuratorial suggestions for retrial were submitted; 3,94 procuratorial suggestions were made on illegal acts in civil trial activities, with a 5.5 percent acceptance rate in the courts during the same period. A total of 1,94 procuratorial recommendations were made on illegal acts in civil enforcement activities, with a 2.<>% adoption rate by the courts during the same period.

In terms of administrative procuratorates, from January to September this year, procuratorial organs nationwide closed more than 1,9 cases of supervision of effective administrative judgments, of which more than 1 were filed with the courts and more than 5 were made for retrial; more than 130,300 procuratorial suggestions were made on illegal acts in administrative trial activities, with a 1 percent acceptance rate in the same period. More than 1,98 procuratorial suggestions were made on illegal acts in administrative enforcement activities, with a 2% acceptance rate in the courts during the same period.

In terms of public interest litigation prosecution, from January to September this year, procuratorial organs across the country filed and handled more than 1,9 public interest litigation cases. Among them, 15,2 civil public interest litigation cases and 1,8 administrative public interest litigation cases were filed. Administrative public interest litigation made 13,4 pre-litigation procuratorial recommendations, and 9.6% of the cases were resolved before litigation. Procuratorial organs nationwide have filed more than 98,4 public interest lawsuits. During the same period, the court's first-instance judgment support rate was 8500.99%.

It is worth noting that in terms of intellectual property prosecution work, from January to September this year, procuratorial organs nationwide accepted the examination and prosecution of 1,9 people for intellectual property infringement crimes, an increase of 2.2% over the same period last year. The crimes involved in the examination and prosecution cases were mainly trademark infringement crimes, totaling more than 49,7 people; copyright infringement crimes and trade secret infringement crimes increased significantly, more than 1,7 and more than 2000 respectively, an increase of 260.1 times and 95 times respectively over the same period last year. Procuratorial organs nationwide accepted more than 1,1900 cases of civil administrative procuratorial supervision of intellectual property rights, an increase of 2.1 times over the same period last year. Among them, there were more than 1700,170 civil procuratorial supervision cases and 330 administrative procuratorial supervision cases. More than <> public interest litigation cases in the field of intellectual property rights have been filed and handled.

The data released this time also includes the handling of cases by the leaders of the admission hospital. From January to September this year, the leaders of procuratorial organs across the country handled a total of 1,9 cases. Among them, the chief procurators of all levels handled 53,9 cases, accounting for 4.6%; The deputy procurator-general, full-time members of the procuratorial committee and other leaders of the admission court handled 8,6 cases, accounting for 49.3%.
