Air defense systems: the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced the interception of two ATACMS missiles in the NVO zone

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, air defense systems shot down two Ukrainian MiG-29 aircraft, as well as a Su-25 attack aircraft and an L-39 combat training aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force in the areas of the settlements of Krasnoarmeysk (DPR), Kozachi Lageri (Kherson region) and Sinelnikovo (Dnipropetrovsk region).

In addition, two US-made ATACMS operational-tactical missiles, an S-200 anti-aircraft missile, converted to engage ground targets, as well as two HARM anti-radar missiles and two US-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems were intercepted during the day. 51 Ukrainian drones were destroyed.

In turn, Russian aviation, drones, missile forces and artillery hit the manpower and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 105 districts. In addition, in the area of the village of Serebryanka (DPR), the command and observation post of the 15th regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine was hit.

The situation in different directions of the NWO

According to the Defense Ministry, in the Kupiansk direction, units of the Zapad grouping, in the course of active operations in cooperation with aviation, artillery and heavy flamethrower systems, repelled 15 attacks by units of the 14th, 32nd, 43rd, 54th and 67th mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the 101st territorial defense brigade in the areas of the settlements of Tymkovka, Sinkovka (Kharkiv region) and Nadiya (LPR).

According to the Russian side, the enemy lost more than 145 servicemen, two infantry fighting vehicles and two vehicles.

During the counter-battery fight, a US-made M777 howitzer and two Gvozdika self-propelled artillery mounts were hit. Along with this, ammunition depots of the 1st Special Forces Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk and Ogurtsovo (Kharkiv region).

In the Krasnolimansk direction, thanks to the coordinated actions of units of the Center group, air and artillery strikes, three attacks by assault groups of the 15th regiment of the National Guard, as well as the 67th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Grigorovka (DPR) and Chervonaya Dibrova (LPR) were repelled.

In the area of the village of Torskoye (DPR), the manpower and equipment of the 63rd mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were hit. According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, up to 30 servicemen, two armored combat vehicles and three cars were destroyed.

In the Donetsk direction, units of the "South" grouping, with the support of aviation and artillery, repelled five attacks by assault groups of the 24th mechanized and 77th airmobile brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Kurdiumovka, Andreevka, Kirovo and Maloilinovka (DPR). In the areas of the settlements of Krasnoye, Andreevka, Klishchievka and Bogdanovka (DPR), the manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were hit.

In total, the enemy lost more than 500 servicemen killed and wounded. A tank, three armored combat vehicles and two pickup trucks were also destroyed. As a result of counter-battery fighting, the US-made M119 howitzer, as well as the Gvozdika self-propelled guns, were hit.

In the South Donetsk direction, units of the Vostok grouping, in cooperation with aviation and artillery, hit concentrations of manpower of the 72nd Mechanized, 58th Motorized Infantry Brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 128th Territorial Defense Brigade in the areas of the city of Vuhledar and the settlements of Urozhayne and Staromayorskoye (DPR). The enemy lost up to 160 soldiers, a tank and three vehicles.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, units of the Russian group of forces, supported by aviation and artillery, repelled five attacks by assault groups of the 82nd Mechanized and 65th Air Assault Brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Verbove and Rabotino (Zaporizhzhia region). During the day, the enemy lost up to 85 servicemen, four tanks, five armored combat vehicles and two vehicles. Along with this, two M777 artillery systems, a D-20 howitzer and an M119 gun were hit.

In the Kherson direction, in the areas of Alyoshkinsky Island and the small railway bridge over the Dnieper, uncovered concentrations of enemy manpower were hit. The Armed Forces of Ukraine lost over 110 servicemen, three vehicles and a D-30 howitzer.
