A 27-year-old woman was found on Wednesday in Zaragoza, handcuffed and with signs of violence, who has assured the police that she has been the victim of a sexual assault.

She was the one who at 5:50 a.m. this morning notified the 091 emergency room for help.

A team from the Citizen Security Brigade of the Superior Police Headquarters of Aragon has moved to the indicated place on the Paseo Duque de Alba in the area of the Pinares de Venecia, on the outskirts of the Aragonese capital.

The agents found the woman "conscious and very cold" and found that she was handcuffed and disoriented, had blows on her body, and she herself told them that she had been raped.

At that moment, the action protocol was activated and the victim was transferred by ambulance to the Emergency Department of the Maternal and Children's Hospital in the Aragonese capital with hypothermia.

In that center she has been examined for the bruises she presented and the corresponding medical tests have been carried out to evaluate the episode of sexual assault that she herself has reported.

The Family and Women's Care Unit of the National Police has taken over the investigation into what happened.
