"Most of the violations related to the alienation of money, real estate, land are carried out through collegial decisions. This is all sorts of advice, take for example the current situation with the Commission for Emergency Situations, which makes various decisions every day in deviation from the law, spends a lot of money," the former Prosecutor General said.

He noted that "these things should at least be checked," and if violations are found, there is a procedure for bringing collegial bodies to criminal responsibility. His words are quoted by Sputnik Moldova.

In March, members of Moldova's Commission for Emergency Situations imposed several new restrictions on protesters. For example, activists are not allowed to use corporate symbols and wear bulletproof vests, body cameras and portable radios.
