The six people killed and wounded were "employees of the company who were inside the Nova Poshta crossing," Kharkiv regional governor Oleg Sinegoubov said. "The victims, aged between 19 and 42, were injured by shrapnel and the blast (of explosions)," he added. A total of 17 people were injured, the Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office said on Sunday.

"Doctors are fighting for their lives"

Earlier, Oleg Sinegoubov said that some of them were hospitalized in serious condition. "Doctors are fighting for their lives," he said. Sergei Nozhka, an employee of Nova Poshta, said the strike hit "the nearby depot, but also ours - windows and shutters flew off." "It's not the first time," he said.

According to the regional prosecutor's office, Russian forces in the Belgorod region, bordering Ukraine, fired S-300 missiles, and two of them hit the warehouse. "Analysis of the debris is continuing at the scene to establish the exact number of wounded and dead," bureau spokesman Dmytro Chubenko told state media outlet Suspilne.
