Al-Jazeera broadcast special scenes of the effects of the bombing targeting the Imad Aqel and Al-Tawba mosques in Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, and showed the large extent of destruction caused to the two mosques as a result of the shelling.

The scenes show the extent of the extensive destruction caused to the Imad Aqel Mosque in the center of Jabalya camp, and the Al-Tawba Mosque, located west of the camp, as a result of their targeting in intensive shelling of various areas in the northern Gaza Strip.

The scenes included copies of torn and burned Qur'ans, the fall of the columns and ceilings of the two mosques, in addition to various damage to the houses adjacent to the two mosques.

Journalist Ramzi Abu al-Qumsan told Al Jazeera that the Israeli occupation army intensifies its bombardment of various areas in the northern Gaza Strip, where the shelling does not stop around the clock, as it targets known and unknown places, in an effort to achieve its goal of emptying the area and increasing displacement from it.

It should be noted that Al Jazeera previously broadcast special footage showing the extent of the destruction in the southern Rimal neighborhood and Tal al-Hawa in southwestern Gaza, and satellite images of the Al Jazeera network showed the complete destruction of hundreds of buildings in Beit Hanoun compared to satellite images taken last year.

At dawn on October 7, the al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, and other Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip launched Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, which they said was a response to the ongoing attacks by Israeli forces and settlers against the Palestinian people, their property and holy sites, especially the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Israeli occupation launched a sustained attack on Gaza with intensive air raids that destroyed entire neighborhoods and caused thousands of martyrs and injuries, mostly women and children.
