According to him, the organization receives daily calls from farmers whose property has been confiscated by banks, suppliers and creditors, and some have even lost their homes.

"We continue to demand the introduction of a state of emergency in the agricultural sector in order to release farmers from liability to creditors, to postpone the repayment of loans," RIA Novosti quoted Mirzenko as saying.

Earlier, the Minister of Agriculture of Romania, Florin Barbu, said that Bucharest imposes restrictions on the import of Moldovan and Ukrainian grain.
