She announced this in her Telegram channel.
"The Israel Defense Forces conducted raids in the Gaza Strip in an attempt to eliminate the threat of terrorists and weapons in the region and to locate the hostages," the statement said.
It is also noted that Israeli army soldiers neutralized a terrorist cell and infrastructure located in the area, including a Hamas cell that fired anti-tank missiles at Israel.
Earlier, air raid sirens sounded in the city of Ashkelon in southern Israel and in the areas bordering Gaza.
