The verdict in the Magnanville trial is now known. The only defendant, Mohamed Lamine Aberouz, was sentenced to life imprisonment with a 22-year custodial sentence for complicity in the murder of two police officers in their homes in 2016 on behalf of the Islamic State (IS) group.

Mohamed Lamine Aberouz, on trial for complicity in the murder of a couple of police officers at their home in Magnanville in the Yvelines on June 13, 2016 on behalf of the Islamic State (IS) organization, was sentenced on Wednesday to life imprisonment, with a 22-year prison term. The Special Assize Court of Paris followed the prosecution's requests to the letter. The public prosecutor had called for the maximum sentence for the accused, who repeatedly proclaimed his innocence during the trial.
