Vorontsov said this during a meeting of the First Committee of the UN General Assembly in New York.

"Visas have not been issued to two representatives who should take part in this event," RIA Novosti quoted the diplomat as saying.

Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that the United States had issued visas to the Russian delegation to participate in the consultations of the "nuclear five" at the UN.

Later, Vorontsov said that Russia demands to immediately launch arbitration against the United States because of the delay in issuing American visas to Russian diplomats.
