Mr Lee said that the National Day fireworks were held again after five years, symbolizing that Hong Kong has fully returned to normal and moved forward after overcoming the difficulties. This year's National Day fireworks display attracted far more visitors than the previous average of more than 20,<> people, and citizens also returned with great joy.

Lee Ka-chiu said that in addition to the fireworks display, the response to a number of celebrations spearheaded by the SAR Government on National Day was quite enthusiastic. The 17 museums under the LCSD were opened free of charge on 10 October, with a total of 1,63000 visitors, of which the Space Museum reached a record number of 11000,154000 visitors in a single day. The "10th Half Price for Good Show" campaign attracted more than <>,<> people to the cinema to watch movies, breaking the record for the number of people during the November holiday in the past <> years.

He said that in the first three days of the Mainland's long holiday, about 3,46 Mainland visitors had entered Hong Kong through various control points on land, sea and air.

In addition, Lee Ka-chiu also mentioned that a number of major projects of "Hong Kong Night Color" have appeared one after another a few days ago, and the response has been good. He was pleased to see that all walks of life fully responded to the "Hong Kong Night Color", and major shopping malls launched different activities, such as festive check-in points, LED fire dragon performances, dragon dance cultural experiences, evening music performances, beer festivals, various markets, live broadcast of Asian Games competitions, etc., and some shopping malls also said that their business increased by 20% to 30%. Consumption, dining and parking discounts have successfully driven the atmosphere, the flow of people and the wealth.

Mr Lee said the "Hong Kong Night Show" activities would continue one after another until early next year. Multiple government departments will actively coordinate to provide appropriate assistance for various activities.
