Revan Ishua, the groom of the ceremony that turned into a tragedy in the Hamdaniya district of Nineveh province in northern Iraq, last Tuesday night, killing hundreds of people and injuring, revealed the details of the catastrophic fire, talking about the "destruction" he suffered after the fire, and the health and psychological condition of his wife.

Rivan, 27, said in his first media appearance on the Eastern Satellite Channel, that the fire broke out in mysterious circumstances, and that within 5 seconds burned the hall where the concert was held, pointing out that the moments before the tragedy witnessed a power outage.

"We didn't agree with the organizers of the concert to light 4 fireworks burners, the agreement was only on two. As the fire broke out in the corners of the hall within a few seconds, a fire began to fall on the heads of the guests.

The state of health of his wife

Regarding the health and psychological condition of his wife Haneen, Rivan said that she is collapsed, and lives in a state of shock and suspicious silence, as she lost 9 members of her family, including her mother, brother and two uncles with their daughters.

She has just returned from the hospital, unable to speak or move, and needs help and support to walk, he said.

Rivan pointed to the mystery of the reasons for what happened, saying, "We don't know what happened, how it happened, or why the electricity was cut off in conjunction with the fire." He held the owner of the hall responsible for killing hundreds for not providing safety conditions and firefighting tools inside the hall."

According to the latest official casualty count, the fire killed 107 people and injured 82 others who are still receiving treatment in hospitals in Mosul, Erbil and Baghdad.
