Nanping, September 9 (Zhongxin Net) -- In the past few days, more than 26 tea-related people from both sides of the strait have gathered in Jianou, northern Fujian, to promote cross-strait tea cultural exchanges and cooperation.

"Fujian and Taiwan have similar latitudes, similar tea-making processes, and tea with the same root and the same origin." Su Tingyao, from Lugu Township, Nantou, Taiwan, took photos while visiting the tea plantation, lamenting the continuous love between the tea industry on both sides of the strait.

As a demonstration point for grassroots exchanges with Taiwan in Fujian Province, a 15-acre century-old dwarf oolong tea garden in Guilin Village, Dongfeng Town, Jianou City, is the original cultivation of Taiwan's Qingxin oolong tea.

At the "Tea Culture, Tea Industry, Tea Technology" exchange meeting, Fujian and Taiwan tea people shared new tea, and expressed their views on the management and development of ecological tea gardens, and the management of diseases and pests.

"The production process is all semi-fermented, and the tasting method is all gongfu tea." Chen Mengzhi, a tea farmer in Yonglong Village, Lugu Township, Nantou County, Taiwan, and the person in charge of Taiwan's Lishan Mingbo Tea Industry, said that he hopes to learn more about the planting methods and production technology of Jianou oolong tea, and looks forward to bringing Taiwanese tea to the Wuyi Mountain Tea Expo to share with everyone.

Zhou Jianfang, member of the Standing Committee of the Jianou Municipal Party Committee and director of the United Front Work Department, said that Jianou will continue to promote the normal exchange and interaction of tea enterprises on both sides of the strait, lead the high-quality development of the tea industry in Fujian and Taiwan with the "three teas", deepen exchanges and cooperation between Fujian and Taiwan, and jointly promote cooperation in the ecological, cultural and tourism industries of South Taiwan.

During the event, the Tea Association of Dongfeng Town, Jianou City signed an exchange and cooperation framework agreement with the Frozen Top Tea Production Cooperative of Lugu Township, Nantou County, Peiqiao Village of Dongfeng Town, Jianou City, Yonglong Village of Lugu Township, Nantou County, Guilin Village of Dongfeng Township, Jianou City and Neihu Village, Lugu Township, Nantou County.
