"On the fact of reports about the resumption of the work of the covid hospital in Kommunarka, we inform you that the information is not true. The reserve hospital, consisting of several roders, in Kommunarka is currently not working and does not accept patients for hospitalization. All these capacities, as before, are in reserve," the press service of the department told RIA Novosti.
Inside one of the roders is a day hospital, where outpatient care is provided to patients at risk (the elderly, patients with chronic diseases) in order to prevent complications, they noted.
"Separately, we emphasize that this unit worked earlier, during the coronavirus pandemic, and continues to work now," the press service added.
As it became known earlier, a temporary hospital for patients with coronavirus infection COVID-19 in the Moscow district of Sokolniki resumes work.
