"They ended up in the middle of this, it's their sports ground. It has happened among a lot of people, says Mårten Gunneng, officer on duty at the police.
The man who was stabbed is in his 30s, and it is unclear how badly injured he is. The police classify the incident as aggravated assault.
"It's a serious stabbing. We are in the process of hearing a large number of witnesses now, so we will have to compile it to see what was the origin, says Mårten Gunneng.
Many children on site
According to the police, the stabbing took place in connection with a football field in Lövgärdet where there were a lot of people present.
"There is nothing to indicate that it is gang-related right now, but it is not uncommon to have quite serious violent crimes among people. And at a sports field, it's children," says Mårten Gunneng.
