It was last Sunday when Emilie went out into her field and noticed that her hay had decreased – initially she did not understand at all what had happened.

"I stood scratching my head for a long time. Has it been windy? Has there been a tornado?", says Emilie Uvagård.

The hay thief jumped over the fence

But it turned out that her hay was stolen.

Emilie explains that after some detective work, she realized that the person had jumped over her fence, taken half of her hay and then stung.

'Major consequences'

The theft is something that has had major consequences for Emilie.

"There are major consequences, it's really expensive to drive around with a tractor, buy fertiliser, seeds – everything is really expensive," she says.
