The agency said that Poland is striving for good relations with Ukraine.

"Poland expects Ukraine to be ready to accept its position, in particular on the protection of Polish agriculture, but also on other issues. This position was handed over today to the Chargé d'Affaires of Ukraine in Warsaw," the Foreign Ministry quoted TASS as saying.

Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Pavel Yablonsky previously announced the deterioration of relations with Ukraine after the statements of the Minister of the Office of the Polish President Marcin Przydacz about Kiev's ingratitude for the help from Warsaw and the summoning of the Polish ambassador to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry in this regard.

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki criticized the incident with the summoning of the republic's ambassador to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
