– I started as a volunteer at Pride in 2001 when I moved to Stockholm and didn't know many people – now in 2023 I'm still a volunteer and you could say that this has become my family, says Fredrik Thorell, deputy park manager Pride Park.
Pride House inaugurated
On Monday, Pride House was inaugurated at Hornstull where seminars, author talks and debates are held throughout the week. Admission is free.
"I would especially like to recommend Friday's seminar 'Rainbow Blood', which is about everyone having the same right to become a blood donor," says Fredrik Thorell.
Pride Park opens Wednesday
Only on Wednesday at 14 pm will Pride Park at Östermalms IP be inaugurated – and there will be a party in all the colors of the rainbow.

On Saturday, it's time for the public highlight – the Pride Parade – which usually attracts up to half a million spectators. The parade departs from City Hall at 13.00.
