"We publicly express our disagreement and strongly condemn statements that may affect patients. Our position is that all patients deserve to be treated fairly and respectfully, regardless of the language they speak or their ethnicity," the statement said.
It is specified that this incident will be studied by the Commission on Ethics of the medical institution.
"On behalf of the management and all staff of the Republican Clinical Hospital, we apologize to the patient and assure that we will take the necessary measures to prevent the admission of such cases," the message adds.
Earlier in Moldova, the doctor refused to accept the patient due to the fact that she is Russian and speaks Russian language. He also insulted her and declared his desire to shoot Russians.
